To all my friends

致我所有的朋友们

I felt it would be timely to share an update about my health, particularly for those of you who have shown your concern and sent me messages in the past weeks.

我觉得现在是时候和大家分享一下我的身体状况了，特别感谢过去几周内关心我，以及给我留言的朋友们。

Since the time of my first diagnosis, I have been following closely the advice of my doctors, and recently undertook a procedure which successfully removed two small cancerous spots on my liver. Atthe same time, tests and scans were done to determine whether the rest of my body was free from cancer. It has emerged, however, that cancerous cells havebeen detected in some of the fluid inside my body.

自从第一次诊断后，我一直在听从医生的建议，而且近期还做了一次手术，成功移除了肝脏上的两个癌斑。同时，我也会继续做检查和化验以确保癌细胞没有转移到身体的其他部位。可是，癌细胞却已经被发现存在于我体内的积液中。

Since receiving this news, I have consulted several oncologists to determine best treatment options, and received advicefrom my masters. It seems the best option is to follow a new course of intravenous chemotherapy. I am also considering adding complementary support with Tibetan medicine. The chemotherapy will start in the coming days, and will be repeated every two weeks.

了解到上述情况后，我咨询了几位肿瘤学家商讨最佳的治疗方案，同时也得到了我的上师们给出的建议。对我来说似乎进行新一期的静脉化疗是最好的选择，我也在考虑吃一些藏药加以辅助。化疗不久之后就会进行，每两周重复一次。

I am very tired and need a lot of rest. The fluid impacts my breathing and so from time to time I am assisted with extraoxygen which helps. The pain and discomfort are not too bad. I am in good spirits and remain confident that the power of the practices being done, in conjunction with the excellent medical treatment I'm receiving, will lead to complete healing.

我感到非常疲惫，需要多休息。积液影响到了我的呼吸，所以我不时地需要额外吸氧加以辅助。身体的痛苦和不适并没有那么糟糕。我现在精神状况良好，并且相信佛法的加持力加上医学治疗一定会令我痊愈的。

Should any of you wish to offer prayers orto practice for my recovery and long life, my masters have particularly advised to focus on Buddha of Medicine, Guru Rinpoche of Medicine, Vajrasattva, ChimePakme Nyingtik, Thangyal Tsedrup, Tsendo (the Sutra of Boundless Life and Wisdom), and Tonglen practice.

如果你们希望为我祈祷，希望我健康长寿，我的上师们尤为建议专注于以下修法：药师佛，莲师药师佛，金刚萨埵，无死圣度母心要，唐东嘉波，佛说圣者无量寿智大乘陀罗尼经以及自他交换。

Whatever prayers or practice you might do,especially your daily practices such as Riwo Sangcho, Tendrel Nyesel, protectors and tsok offerings, I am absolutely confident they will be of benefit, especially if you hold a pure motivation in your heart and invoke allthe lineage masters, as well as lama, yidam, khandro and Dharma protectors.

无论做何种修持，特别是你们每天修持的诸如山烟净供，缘起除障，供护法以及荟供，当你们用最纯净的心去祈祷所有的传承上师，高僧大德，本尊，空行以及护法时，我百分百地确信这些修持一定会起到作用。

Lastly, once again, I want to thank you allfor your concern, your prayers and your messages of love—I feel immensely supported, and it touches me deeply. Please continue to care for one another with friendship, understanding and kindness, energize yourselves with the inspiration of the practice and, just as I do, put your faith and trust in the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha, and the blessings of Guru Rinpoche and the masters.

最后，我想再次感谢你们所有人对我的关心，祈福，感谢你们给我的留言和对我的爱。我感受到了极大的鼓舞，让我深受触动。请大家一定要继续关爱彼此，相互理解，用佛法的甘露激励你们自己，就像我一样，要对佛法僧，对莲师以及所有的上师们充满无比的信心！
